Overview

Quantitative Research Group (QRG) was founded in New York in 2001. The principals are investment and technology professionals with more than six decades of combined experience in providing solutions to traditional investment management firms, hedge funds, bank trusts, and public and private pension fund organizations. The firm’s founder is former Managing Director of The DAIS Group, Inc., a quantitative research group established in 1978 at the now defunct Drexel Burnham and a subsidiary of Bridge Information Systems America, Inc., until September 2001.

QRG was founded to fill the untapped demand for tools that enrich institutional managers’ investment processes. The firm's long-term objective is to be the leading provider of comprehensive quantitative products and services that help clients develop structured products to exploit market inefficiencies. QRG’s products are built on a variety of top-tier financial databases that are combined and organized into a single integrated source. Using Web-based technology as our distribution medium, QRG offers two categories of products to the investment community. At the basic service level, we provide small firms a competitively priced package of stock selection models.

The second category of products appeals primarily to larger firms. These products include value-added analytical solutions that enable sophisticated application of our models as components in a multivariate framework as well as consulting services to build customized multifactor models and strategies based on client specifications. Our stock selection products and consulting services provide these larger firms with a cost-effective way to advance their investment research and product development objectives.
